Vicinity
Our school is located in the heart of Donauwörth (Reichsstraße/Mohrengasse). For car owners, parking places are available near the school the house (70 cent)
Search engines show some old and faulty entries regarding the school's adress and contact numbers. Locations such as Berger Vorstadt, Weidenweg, Pflegstraße and Schodererstraße are not valid anymore. The school is currently located in the Reichsstraße 7. We apologize for the confusion this may cause but we are unable to delete some of these entries.

Please note that, unlike our office, the actual school in Donauwörth is not open on a regular basis. If you wish to arrange an appointment for an informative chat or if you would like to take a free trial lesson, please don't hesitate to contact us by email or phone (01577 186 4918). In case that I am not available, please leave a message on the voice mail, I will call you back as soon as possible. At the bottom of this page you will find a contact form, if you wish to send us an email.
Flexibility
It is possible to start or stop a course at any time and without any extra costs. (No strings attached). Also, we will try our best to adapt to your work schedule by offering classes in the late afternoon or early evening - even on Saturdays on request.
Course Duration
Business life is fast moving and dependant on flexibility. Especially our foreign customers may be relocated to other cities or even countries every now and then. Also changes in the private life can occur quickly. We know all that and therefore we have adapted to this accordingly. This means we are not interested in tying you to a contract that forces you to book months in ahead, with only a small possibility to get out sooner without major financial disadvantage. You tell us when you want to stop and that's it for you. No strings attached.
Prices and Payment
Regarding group courses, our prices change in relation to the number of participants. The more learners there are in a group, the cheaper the price. As for the individual courses, prices are higher, but you benefit from a very intensive and time-effective learning strategy that will bring you to a good level in a relatively short time.
Free Trial Lesson
After your initial request by Email or phone, we normally offer you a personal conversation and a free trial lesson. This gives us the chance to assess your language level - plus it gives you the opportunity to check out our teaching style and to get to know your future fellow learners in the group.
Our Customers
For almost 20 years, our customers have been coming to Communitas in order to learn languages. Our teaching methods are practical and what you learn will be immediately applicable, because we focus on topics that are relevant in everybody's private or business lives. But at the same time, our courses are not only about learning. They are also about having fun!
Our Goal
... is to teach you the language quickly, effectively, and in accordance with your personal requirements and your schedule. We offer elementary and advanced courses, intensive and refresher courses. Lessons are normally held in German. However, on request, grammar explanations can be given in English, Spanish, French, or Italian.
Our Methods
Using always the latest materials available, our courses equally focus on speaking, writing and understanding the German language – an this with the least possible effort and a playful approach. Acting out practical situations ensures that you lose the fear of actually applying the language in your daily lives.
Variety
We do not only teach German, of course. We also offer courses in other languages such as English, French or Spanish. Again, our teachers will be able to give you explanations in English or other languages if necessary.
Assessment Tests
We teach languages in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) which defines the various levels of language mastery (Level A1 – C2). Do you already know which level you're at? That will make it easier for us to find out which group course would be the best for you. Alternatively, you can take an assessment test at our school of course.
Our Rooms
We know that many of you come to the course directly after a long and tiring work day. We don't want to stress you out on top of that! Although we are located right in the centre of Donauwörth, you will encounter a relaxed and quiet learning atmosphere.
Certificates
Please note that at the moment we can only offer certificate preparation for English. We do not offer certificate courses in German. However, we can offer you a confirmation of attendance once the course is completed.
